CXLE8189采用40V额定集成开关FET,是一个升压转换器,可串联驱动多达10个LED。boost转换器以1.2MHz固定开关频率运行,开关电流限制为1.1A,允许在普通照明中使用高亮度LED。
默认的白色LED电流由外部传感器电阻RSET设置,反馈电压调节为200mV,如典型应用所示。在工作过程中,LED的电流可以通过控制管脚的PWM信号来控制,脉冲宽度调制(PWM)信号决定反馈的参考电压。在脉宽调制模式下,CXLE8189不会使LED电流爆裂;因此,它不会在输出电容器上产生可听的噪音。为了最大限度地保护,该器件具有集成的开放式LED保护,禁用CXL8189,以防止输出电压超过IC的绝对最大额定电压在开放的LED条件

With a 40V rated integrated switch FET, the CXLE8189 is a boost converter that drives up to 10 LEDs in series. The boost converter runs at a 1.2MHz fixed switching frequency with 1.1A switch current limit, and allows for the use of a high brightness LED in general lighting.The default white LED current is set with the external sensor resistor RSET, and the feedback voltage is regulated to 200mV, as shown in the typical application. During the operation, the LED current can be controlled using PWM signal through the CTRL pin, the pulse width modulation (PWM) signal determines the feedback reference voltage. In PWM mode, the CXLE8189 does not burst the LED current; therefore, it does not generate audible noises on the output capacitor. For maximum protection, the device features integrated open LED protection that disables the CXLE8189 to prevent the output voltage from exceeding the IC’s absolute maximum voltage ratings during open LED conditions.The CXLE8189 is available in Green TDFN-2×2-6L and TSOT-23-6 packages. It operates over an ambient temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃.
